satchel got their new logo design by running a design contest:
LOGO for RIVER ROAD JEAN COMPANY
Check out satchel's Logo design contest…
Designers! We apologize for having to extend the contest, but appreciate that you may need more time for the new summary here. Would like to see something that evokes a classic jean to men, but also looking cool to wear, something modern retro. Not too busy, font should stay fairly simple/easy to read whether it is used on a large banner or on a small leather label. Easy to recognize, easy to remember. Fun & funky rugged but not whimsical.
River Road Jean Company
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Dark, rugged red or navy Desired Style: Update on Classic Old Signage Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Classic fit, Classic comfort, Classic style, the logo should be a reflection of the premium quality of jeans we sell. The logo should have a retro quality that makes it feel genuine and authentic, but with an updated look. It would be great to see a font/lettering that is evocative of 1969 or 1959. The canoe man needs to be re-illustrated/re-designed. currently, he is sort of flat-looking and too computer-drawn. http://riverroadjeancompany.com/rrjc/ You may want to do versions that contain canoe man, as well as versions that do not.
