Business & Consulting
We are independent consultants in a direct sales company, and want to brand our own team/organization. So we want to give our group an identity, not necessarily to market to customers, but to build team pride among the direct sales team. The team is approximately 75% women, but the logo still needs to be inclusive for men. Our main product line is long-shelf life food/food storage, and secondary product line of emergency preparedness. Here is our website for information. readyhomestore.shelfreliance.com. Our product line isn't a critical part of the logo, since this will just be used among our team members. As a direct sales team, we're really each individual business owners, so from this perspective we focus on goal setting, personal growth, skill development, camaraderie, and charitable giving.
Logo types to explore
If you look at our website listed previously, we cannot have a logo that may be mistaken for corporate logos in terms of color/theme/etc. We have used a pirate theme thus far and enjoy it. So people say they're part of the Thrive Crew. We are a relaxed and somewhat laid back team, even though we have the most successful organization in the company. Something somewhat playful, but not childish, may fit our team's personality. We've thought about having a character as part of the logo. Kind of a mascot. We work this business as a couple. Here's a picture: http://readyhomestore.shelfreliance.com/uploads/profile-pics/profile1004.png We've thought about pirate looking versions of us being incorporated. But aren't set on that by any means. Maybe that comes in the next phase as an accessory to the main logo though. After this logo we will probably expand to other needs such as business cards, website design, and perhaps periodic things like hats, t-shirts that will need custom design. Maybe this is a better time for the character/mascot. I don't really know what I'm talking about, and know little to nothing about design, so just looking forward to some cool options. I just attached a logo we use in our newsletter. We've used other versions based on this for various things. It's just something I patched together with an openclipart.org image. So glad we have some spare money to get something nice now!
