ncrice got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Need a logo for web design blog - $200
Check out ncrice's Logo design contest…
I would like a logo that fits within the space I've given it (see image). Colors need to work with the site design as well. Mark needs to be a creative combination of the letters "NR" (monogram)
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: red, black, gray ... any colors that fit within the site I've designed. Feel free to experiment with shades. Desired Style: techy, edgy, modern. Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Please see the image/comp for the website header I have designed for a reference by clicking here. The logo will go in the empty space at the top-left. I'm looking for a logo for the website "NathanRice.net" that fits the following criteria: - Must fit with the style/colors of the site I have designed (see above link to image). - Must fit with in the dimensions I've given it (see above link to image). - Must include the .net extension in the logo. The .net doesn't need to prominent though. - Must have a mark, made by the creative combination of the letters "NR" (monogram). I am also open to marks other than the combination of "NR" ... but only if they are highly brandable and creative. - The mark must be brandable and recognizable. I am partial to more abstract marks. - The words "Nathan" and "Rice" should be contrasted somehow. They need to obviously be 2 different words (for legibility). - Simple is fine, but too simple is bad. - Preferred fonts would be thin, short, but I encourage creativity, so feel free to experiment. - Must be scalable. Vector or high res photoshop.
