MusicTwoDotOh believes the current music industry should be replaced with an electronic equivalent.
Our goal is to make three "centers" on our site: one for the listening public, one for music afficianado "DJs", and one for music professionals. The listening public comes to hear music on RadioTwoDotOh, afficianados create the shows that play on RadioTwoDotOh, and music professionals generate new music for the DJs to play.
The listening public have a MySpace experience, where they share their musical tastes, send their friends their newest RadioTwoDotOh finds, follow their favorite bands, search for new RadioTwoDotOh stations, and find and organize their friends to join them at upcoming shows. Best of all, the public has RadioTwoDotOh to listen to, and when they hear a song they like, it's one button push to own it.
Anyone can have a RadioTwoDotOh DJ presence as well. They put together shows, have access to the bands, get on the receiving lists for new recordings, share views on their own DJ page, join with other DJs to create RadioTwoDotOh stations with a theme, and participate in music community discussions about bands, songs, producers, and music lore, plus receive a cut of RadioTwoDotOh sales from their shows.
Music professionals have a "market place" where they hook up to put together recordings, offer promotional services, scheduler tours and so on.
