Food & Drink
We believe in learning from nature. We study plants to understand their properties and use chemistry to unlock unique human health and wellness benefits. We imagine, discover, and develop botanically-derived products that are inspired by nature’s genius, magic, and power. There are nearly nine million plant and animal species on our planet, over 85% of which have yet to be discovered. Nature’s magic is evident in the physical characteristics of each plant, from subtle aromas to powerful healing properties. We have only just begun to understand nature’s boundless biodiversity and ways that plants can support human health and wellness. We practice triple-bottom line accounting that measures our impact enriching communities, conserving the natural world, and creating economic sustainability. We strengthen communities and local economies across the world by partnering with growers to cultivate plants that possess unique healing qualities. We collaborate with researchers, health and wellness practitioners, and companies to discover new plant-based remedies that can be used in everyday products. As consumers increasingly substitute conventional products for nature-based alternatives, Virgin Oils we will emerge as a trusted and valued brand.
Logo types to explore
The design should reflect something that is easily identifiable with nature but please don't use an oil drop. Remember: We believe in learning from nature. We study plants to understand their properties and use chemistry to unlock unique human health and wellness benefits. We imagine, discover, and develop botanically-derived products that are inspired by nature’s genius, magic, and power. Here's a list of the attached example logos and why we love them: KIND: This is our favorite logo because we love the: bright, bold colors; simple, thick, easy-to-read text; recognizable, iconic look that's easy to read up close or far away. Acorn Innovestments, Aveda, Rogue, and SkinFare: We like all these logos because they are simple, minimal, bold, and clear. The love that the “O” in Acorn or the "O" in Rogue can be used as a standalone logo or watermark too! Big Spoon Roasters: We love the folksy, handmade, look and feel. Method and Locopops: We love the colorful, playful nature. Brooklyn and Fullsteam Breweries: We love the iconic, bold, strong elements of these logos. They're easy to recognize from near or far. We love bold, iconic, and compelling logos. We think text-based logos with iconic, pictorial or abstract marks incorporated into the text are easiest to recognize and read. The logo should read clearly big or small and be easily adaptable to print, digital media, signage and merchandise.
