RabbiHeifetz got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Olive Branch Productions needs a new logo

Entertainment & The Arts
We are launching Olive Branch Productions, a new production company for theater, cabaret, music, lectures, stand-up comedy, etc. The logo should offer a visual accompaniment for all of these performing arts activities. The logo should also include an olive branch as a motif. The olive branch used in our new production company logo might look similar to the olive branch that appears in our existing synagogue logo (as explained further below). The production company is a project of my synagogue, Oseh Shalom (a Jewish congregation), in Laurel, Maryland, USA. We chose the name "Olive Branch Productions" because our synagogue is located on a street called Olive Branch Way, and our synagogue logo includes an olive branch woven into a Star of David (Jewish symbol). I've attached a PDF copy of our synagogue logo, below. However, we do not want to focus on a Jewish audience for our productions. Rather, we want to create programs and events for a general audience. We wish to appeal to people who live throughout the Baltimore-Washington DC region. The olive branch motif is a perfect way to visually tie the new logo to the synagogue's identity, without using any other explicitly Jewish symbols. We want this balance: welcoming to a general (non-Jewish) audience, but connected to the synagogue visually. Please note that I've uploaded a copy of our synagogue logo (which includes the olive branch), and also a photo of the synagogue building as seen from outside the main entrance. I've also uploaded a number of other logos I like from other theaters and production companies. Any questions? Please ask!
