I only have excellent feedback about working with Joabe. We come to him time-and-time again as we are guaranteed a beautiful design and the process of working together is always so pleasant and easy.

How masonc started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Passing Class Piano
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Website offers piano tutorial videos for college music majors. All college music majors must pass a piano proficiency as part of their degree, and most find the requirement onerous. My job is to teach piano to people who don't want to learn piano. The logo needs to be playful and non-serious, and perhaps incorporate some suggestion of completion or degree (check mark - check this off the list, certificate seal, diploma, or other more abstract means of communicating getting it done). The website is currently functional with a more or less do-it-yourself logo at http://www.passingclasspiano.com.
I would like to polish up the site, feature the new logo in a video opening, and later, have a custom wordpress design based on the logo. Web friendly colors, and I'm open to bold contrasts. I'm okay with a stylized, abstracted piano, but nothing to overtly "musicky". No obvious treble, bass clefs or music notes. If you can cleverly disguise them, then perhaps.

Web-friendly and video friendly. I'm not so sure there will be much of an application for merch, but if that develops, I'll come back for another design.
