We are a large distributor of hardware and materials to hardware stores around America. This logo will be used on packaging and marketing materials for the following product categories: • Builders Hardware (see http://wedo.hillmangroup.com/category/hardware-essentials-builder-s-hardware for examples of this category) • Lock Sets • Pad Locks • Lock Boxes • Hand Trucks • Plumbing The following qualities should be reflected in this logo: • Professional • Long lasting • Durable • Quality • Empowering • Made for Men • Strong Logo should be in two colors only. No gradients, No cartoons! Must work well on white and colored backgrounds without significant alterations.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Let designers make suggestions: Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
The packaging will often be small such as a padlock package. Logo should be clear at a small size. Please do not use obscure or free fonts.
