Quest for Arete
The creators of Quest for Arete (ARE-a-tay), a new collectible card game (CCG), are seeking finalized designs of the game logo. "Arete" is a Greek term meaning "excellence." The logo is a stylized lowercase "a" to represent the term "arete."
Quest for Arete is a CCG where players take on the role of a sorcerer's apprentice and use their skills and training with magical elements (each represented by a card) to create spells, collect rare elements and customize their card decks to achieve excellence.
In the game the apprentices are charged by their master to go into the world to restore the spirit of excellence that is missing from the land. Each must duel any other sorcerer's apprentice they meet. Every duel, won or lost, increases their knowledge and mastery of the elements and their own excellence. As they increase their skills and understanding they can collect and use more powerful elements and customize their deck of cards.
