Allure did an excellent job. This design was originally submitted for a past contest I ran, and even though it wasn't the best fit for that project, I never forgot how great it was and hoped it would fit another project. Once that day came I reached out and asked if Allure would revamp the design for my current project and she agreed. Her completion time was impressive. I had the revamped logo within the hour. Allure also provided free advice regarding a basic graphic design issue I was having, which also speaks to her character. The provided documentation (hex colors, font name, etc.) were also well organized. I can highly recommend Allure's work and work ethic.
How Jase started their logo design journey
Piggsy.com is a new reminder/shopping site (or at least it will be when it goes live!), and it needs a fantastic logo!
Piggsy stands for 'Personalised Internet Great Gift System"
The site will allow users to register free, add details of their friends and family, their birthdays, anniversarys and other important dates. It also allows you to set their interests and a budget that you would spend on presents.
21 and 14 days before the date, the users receive a free email to remind them of the date, and make suggestions on gifts to by based on the criteria they set up.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Daft as it sounds, but this idea is to be marketed to any web user who shops (and has friends!). Those that are bad at remembering dates, or are rubbish at shopping, should find it particularly useful
The logo should be 'friendly' and not overly corporate. It should be memorable, and maybe include references to remembering dates and buying gifts.
My first thought was something along the lines of a pig with a diary and/or a gift...but I'll leave the creativity to you!
The logo should include the site name. Our strapline is "Never Forget a Great Gift Again!". Bonus points to those who include designs both with and without the strapline.
Colour is not an issue (within reason!), as the site itself is being designed to be fairly neutral in colourscheme.
The logo will be used on the website itself, outgoing emails and advertising materials.
