Remository Software builds web applications to run in leading CMS platforms such as Joomla!, MiaCMS, Aliro, Mambo. So far, all software products are open source under GPL. Flagship product is Remository, a file repository system that allows web sites extensive management features for handling file downloads and uploads. Other current products include Glossary, which is what the title says!
Web site builders (who are using one of the CMS platforms) or software integrators who are seeking quality components. People looking for software services related to the expertise offered by Remository Software, either for Remository products or general PHP/MySQL development.
Primarily a logo that can be used on http://remository.com and also on the title page of any Remository file repository (e.g. http://remository.com/downloads). The logo will also be used (where possible) in software directories and for the construction of banners and "powered by" images. It will also be used on "printed" letter headings, invoices etc.
Given the variety of applications, the logo should be usable at different sizes and sometimes in monochrome. As the use of the logo in title pages means that it will appear on a large number of diverse web sites, the logo should avoid color schemes that would be liable to clash with site designs.
As Remository Software may build a variety of other software applications, the logo should avoid too specific allusions to the current product range.
Remository software is used across a large range of countries, by no means all of which use Latin alphabets. The logo should therefore avoid the use of letters, such as an R.
I'm also involved with Aliro, which ran a contest (http://99designs.com/contests/15877) here. But Remository and Aliro are entirely distinct projects, so I'd prefer the Remository logo to be quite different from the Aliro one.
