Reaching Youth Through Music
Entertainment & The Arts
We are looking for a logo for RHYTHM, the new educational outreach program for the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus. The program sends chorus singers to local schools to sing, share stories, answer questions, and spread a message of expressing your authentic self and anti-bullying.
The logo must be modern, youthful and playful to appeal to middle school and high school students. Think late-teens, not little kids. Students should want to wear this logo on a shirt anywhere. When people see the logo, they should understand instantly that this is an LGBTQ music program. Please use vibrant colors (see the attached images for color reference) and make sure to use the LGBTQ pride rainbow in some way. The logo needs to include the text “RHYTHM” in all-CAPS and no periods between. You are invited to experiment with using musical symbols (for example: music notes, bass clef, microphones, etc.) in the design. Please consider playing with positive and negative space (for example: putting images inside of larger letters). Please also consider using silhouettes of our singers (see attached images), and note that we are wearing a red ribbon on our left lapel.

I had the best experience ever working with Yo!Design. he was extremely responsive, very professional, super nice and polite. He kept on a positive attitude throughout the entire process, even though i gave him a little hard time with getting everything to be perfect. i would work with him in the future without even a grain of though. Thank you my friend. i couldn't be happier. <3
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
