How SINT started their logo design journey

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
SINT is the brand name for the Interactive division of Secom Technology.
The brand needs to be reflective of the Secom Technology logo (http://www.secomtech.com.au). A variation of this logo is required, however, but needs to indicate that this is a more modern, interactive unit.
- Would like to see an icon or logo of some sort, combined with the mainbrand name SINT. Underneath, or wherever suitable, the smaller, lessprominent text of "SECOM INTERACTIVE" should be displayed.
- Cutting edge and modern media company
- Portray image of reliability.
- Must be portable for use as a H1 logo in a website or stationery letterheads / business cards.
