How Michael Naef started their logo design journey
SBKH - Small Business Know How
SBKH is a startup consulting company in Switzerland. We want to help small business to develop their strategies and processes by implementing new technologies they don't know yet. Therefore we offer an internet platform with several Excelsheets, Web-Tools, database solutions as well as consulting services. Most of it should be for free and hopefully also contributed by some users. Due to the current crisis, a lot of small businesses have difficulties to survive because the don't use their full potential. We want to support them. We want to help them survive. We want them to help others. We want all to share their knowledge and become better.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
- small businesses (approx. less than 50 employees)
- all industries
- target market is Switzerland
- contact basically through the web platform
the targeted persons would be described as:
- suspicious about internet services
the logo will be used as a company logo, on business cards and will set the standard for our internet platform. I attached the logo of credit-suisse which i like basically because of it's color concept and convenience.
What we would like to see:
+ color concept with one or two basic colors and its hue-variations (and b/w)
+ the letters "SBKH" and if it fits "Small Business Know How"
+ the logo should look professional since it's a consulting company in the back
+ keep it simple
+ should be more than just the letters
+ something which symbolizes "know how" or "knowledge" would be nice
What we don't like:
- swiss flags
- dollar signs
- anything that restricts the concept to a specific industry
