We are very pleased with our new logo. The designer was easy to work with and made changes very quickly.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Stukel Saw Shop got its name from Stukel Mountain in Klamath County, Oregon. It was originally founded in 2001 under the direction of a gentleman who had spent his career in forestry, and timber operations where the number one tool of choice was a STIHL chainsaw. Under new ownership since 2017, Stukel Saw Shop carries the full line of STIHL products. (Chainsaws, weed eaters, leaf blowers, pressure washers and pretty much any tool you can think of that may be of some use in the gardening, forestry or landscaping industries either privately or professionally) In addition to STIHL, we service small engines such as Briggs & Stratton and Oregon brands for the same industries. As the business grows, we are beginning to sponsor events throughout the community. Unfortunately, the gentleman we took over from believed that the best marketing and advertising tool was...the yellow pages. While we do get a lot of business from professional organizations like the USDA Forest Service, we love our community and want to ensure they know we will never outgrow them.

Minimalist but, bold and... powerful? I like the use of the initials tied together with the animal.
This may be too simple for what I’m looking for but, I like the embossed look. Maybe with a burnt wood effect?
I enjoy the representation of landscape in this design.
whimsical without being over the top.
Shows a connection to and respect for history. Something old fashioned that is still in style.
Minus the pink font, I like the separation between the text and the picture. Also, its amusing.
In the timber industry, wood products are stamped or otherwise marked in a similar fashion. I like the textured look of this design.
Ideally, we would like some incorporation of Stukel Mountain and the tools we offer present in our logo and perhaps a stencil or spray paint like font. We aren't married to the slogan "sales, service, repair" it's just something that we have used a lot in other marketing in the last year. Sadly, we cannot claim artistic talent beyond stick people and are open to the limits of your creativity. (Please, no pink) If you decide to make a chainsaw dominant in the design, please be sure that any styling or fonts do not give the impression that the saw is cut in half.
This is our first foray with 99 designs. As we haven't had much luck with other artists, we were nervous about putting a guarantee on this contest but are committed to finding a great logo and hope we find it here! We have included a link to our dealer website for those who are more visual to better understand our products as well as a link to Stukel Mountain. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Good luck to all! https://stukelsawshopklamathfalls1.…ealer.net/ http://elevation.maplogs.com/poi/st….4288.html
