Prompt, accurate, and very responsive. A great designer so easy to work with.
How Steven Nickels started their logo design journey
StealzIt.com is a new penny auction site that will compete with current sites such as Swoopo.com, Beezid.com, Bidrodeo.com, etc.
Penny auctions are fun, competitive and somewhat addictive.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a site that offers the opportunity to get amazing deals (stealz!) and win items up to 99% off of retail. That new laptop or tv you always wanted might now be affordable. The level of fun and competitiveness involved leads to a loyal customer - the 'stealz' are important and become the reward.
We do want our logo and identity to appeal to a wide demographic so that we can capture the business of those looking specifically for 'stealz', who will then have fun and enjoy the penny auction experience.
Fun while also being trustworthy and professional, not silly.
Our logo should use a font that can be read easily and should distinguish the words easily (Stealz and It) - it should NOT read steal zit, etc. It should also include .com in the name.
I have attached two PDF files with samples of our original ideas, as well as a few logos that were developed for us by a graphic designer. We don't like any of the logos that were developed, however, we do like the possible combination of blue/silver. We haven't completely decided on colors so you can use your imagination.
Also, you'll notice in the attached files that we have a couple ideas for a 'character' to go along with the logo. This could be a guy in a black and white striped prison jumpsuit - but he has to have a super friendly face to have the right connotation. (maybe Bob's Big Boy type face?) Maybe he's making off with a barrel full of stealz? Again, we're excited to see your imagination!
We're looking to convey, at a glance, good deals and fun.
