We are a surf charity that offers free surf camps to underprivileged kids from remote coastal communities all around the world. We need a simple yet compelling logo design that commands attention and is easily recognizable. Check our site: http://www.missionsurf.org. We're only in the early stages, so the site is very simple right now :)
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are looking for a sleek, eye catching and memorable logo to represent our charity. We offer free surf camps to underprivileged children from remote coastal communities all around the world. The kids also get to keep their surfboards and related equipment. We are avid travelers and love sharing our passion with these kids. We are an environmentally aware group and believe in the simple pleasures of life - surfing, nature, caring for the environment, sharing love, embracing different cultures. I thought perhaps a heart outline - half red to show our passion and half blue (being a waving barreling maybe?). But I really am VERY open to any and all ideas and will give as much input as possible to those submitting. Please note - a heart within the design is NOT AL ALL necessary, it was just an initial idea that I had. I think simpler is more effective, though, again, I am open to your ideas. The winning entry will have the LOGO with the charity's name and tagline but the LOGO must be easily separated from the name and tagline. Our website is http://www.missionsurf.org
I would like the winning design in a vector format please. Don't be discouraged if you don't get 3/4 or 5 stars... all the designs will go before the board for a decision to be made. A low star score doen't mean you're out of the game, nor does it mean it's a bad design. I am continually amazed at the unique creativity on this site. I'm awarding stars in the attempt to guide you to what I think would fit the charity. So keep bringing them in!! :)
