The climate is changing and so are we.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) is a K-12 school district with 17,000 student in rural Ontario, Canada. TLDSB wants to set the standard and take proactive action to ensure that all school communities comply with international climate agreements and promote a sustainable environmental education model. We hope that Trillium Lakelands District School Board will pledge to take climate action and ensure generational justice through holistic and systematic change. The goals of our climate action plan are as follows: Trillium Lakelands District School Board takes proactive action to promote a sustainable environmental education model that will impact the next seven generations. TLDSB school communities will be encouraged to comply with international, national, and provincial climate agreements and regulations. We have 9 phases: Education and Commitment Mental Health and Student Advocacy Waste Management Energy Connections Food Resilience Resource Management Carbon-Conscious Transportation Creation of Eco-spaces Evaluation
We are a group of Grade 11 students who will be working with an advisor to select a logo design for this project. Attached is a possible "look" for our logo but we are interested in any ideas.
