How Gail J started their logo design journey
Ruff Plastic Surgery & RPS MedSpa
Dr Paul G Ruff IV has been a board certified plastic surgeon for 10 years. He was a partner in a previous practice and has recently split from the practice. He is launching a new practice, Ruff Plastic Surgery & RPS Med Spa on January 1, 2011.
Dr Ruff offers surgical as well as non surgical cosmetic and aesthetic services. He is continually on the “cutting edge” of techniques and technology in his industry. He is extremely talented, personable and teaches his techniques to other surgeons.
He has a passion for art and plans to promote various artists’ works at his practice.
Our slogan is “Celebrating the art of the human form”.
The practice will provide 5 Star Customer Service.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The vast majority of our customers are women and homosexual men in the age range of 25-65 and are middle to high income earners. They seek to enhance/beautify areas of their face or body and/or wishes to delay the aging effects on their body and faces.
We intend to attract a local, national and international clientele.
We are looking for a clean, modern, contemporary design that appeals to a unisex audience. The logo must be memorable, simple and easy to transfer to a variety of materials, print, internet, t-shirts, mugs, etc.
We plan to show only the logo and the letters “RPS” on some of our marketing materials (t-shirt). The logo & RPS could be 1 option or the letters RPS incorporated into the logo is a 2nd option.
The logo would also need to be incorporated into our longer name: Ruff Plastic Surgery & RPS Med Spa.
We do NOT want a flower, butterfly, or obvious body parts in the logo, but the logo still needs to communicate “art” & “human form”.
Please DO NOT USE stock images or clip art!
This project requires a creative mind that can produce an equally creative design.
Our primary colors are:

Designer may slightly modify colors but must include hex codes w design. The colors must look appealing on the web, in print, and on other mediums such as mugs and t-shirts.
We are completely open to concept ideas so please feel free to run them past us before committing too much time to creating a design.
The final design must be scalable (large scale print to 72dpi) & delivered in Photoshop PSD, CMYK for print work and PNG formats.
