Toronto Multicultural Food Expo
We are trying to organize a celebration, in the summer of 2011, of Toronto and its great spirit of diversity and inclusion. We are the world's most multicultural city. The greatest population of Sihks, Indians, Greeks, Italians, Portugese, Koreans and many others outside of their native countries reside in the Greater Toronto Area. Anyone can feel at home in Toronto and we want to celebrate that.
To new and old Torontonians, one of the most tangible benefits is the food experience. You can literally enjoy meals from the four corners of the globe with astonishing ease in Toronto, often within a few blocks.
We want to host this great event for not only Torontonians but for other Canadians, our friends from the US and other countries in the world.
The Toronto Multicultural Food Expo will bring all that is good about Toronto together and showcase our diversity through a food exposition that is reflective of our distinct communitites.
The key audience are Torontonians of all ages and nationalities who will form the majority of our participants, volunteers and attendance.
Toronto is a major metropolis that is diverse from social, economic, cultural and educational backgrounds.
Torontonians love living here for the diversity that they encounter and experience each and every day. From visiting the many different neighbourhoods (Greektown, Little Italy, Little India, KoreaTown......) , the people you encounter on a daily basis or the multitude of food and cultural experiences at their doorstep, Toronto is a world class city and leader in diversity and inclusion.
From Toronto, we would look to other Canadians, Americans and other countries to attract as potential tourists.
We need a logo that can help us define the personality and tone of the event. Since the logo will be the most used and seen piece of communication it is an important building block.
The logo may be used in TV, print, OOH, flyers, branding kits, with sponsors, brochures, t-shirts, you name it.
It needs to deliver on Toronto and its multicultural diversity. While food is the focus of the event, that seems like an additional layer that may not be necessary to include but feel free to give it a whirl.
We are a new entity so have no materials at this stage.
The latest in logo design 2D,3D, 4D is welcome.
