Daniel James T. Cook got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Transform old super-horrible logo for new use but make it reminiscent of old one

Flood, fire, and mold damage remediation and restoration service provider. Needs to have similar feel to existing logo. More about that below....
This business is spinning off a second division for water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation. They want a logo that is reminiscent of their existing business logo. However, the existing logo is the very definition of HORRIBLE so taking cues from it and making a new one is out of my league. I need someone really good to design a logo that looks pro (unlike the current one... attached) but which as a feel like the old one for brand continuity. My best guess is to replace the buildings with fire, water, and mold symbols but open to anything that works for this.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
