shawntempesta got their new logo design by running a design contest:
TV Meets Radio! What should that look like? Make it for Hit The Post!

Entertainment & The Arts
Hit The Post is a production company that produces television commercials for radio stations around America. (The term "Hit The Post" refers to a radio DJ talking up the intro of a song and stopping as the song's lyrics begin). Our target is radio station program directors and general managers... and we do it with a little bit of personality!
Logo types to explore
I seem to have an easier time designing logos for others than for myself. Considering this is a production company helping Radio Stations gain a presence on Television... anything that shows the unification of the two is awesome. Radio Microphone (thing Electrovoice RE20) sticking out of a television? Speaker with an eye as the speaker cone? Boom box with eyes and a body? A waveform or VU meter in a television? These are just some ideas, but have fun with it! Ultimately the site and service has some personality. Fun colors, bold, not "too serious". Also, I prefer a horizontal logo as opposed to a vertical one (wider vs taller).
