How Hellbentclothingco started their logo design journey
Hell Bent Clothing Co. (emphasis on the "Hell Bent")
We are a new, up & coming brand of clothing, adorned with a collection of unique designs inspired by the classic pinstriping of early to mid-19th century America & traditional Hot Rod & Rockabilly symbols, but with a modern edge, keeping the designs clean & edgy & the clothing simple/non-busy. See the attached design example.
We plan to make basic casual wear, such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, tank-tops & ball caps. We also want to do some automotive-/mechanic-specific styles, such as "Dickies"-style jackets & button-up shirts. Also accessories, such as belts, wallets & purses.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hot Rod enthusiasts, Rat-Roders, Lowriders, Bikers & the Rockabilly kulture.
Men & women of ages 25-50 years.
Internet-savvy individuals, as sales will initially be internet/mail-order based, with the hope of expanding to retail wholesale.
Logo design should be appealing to trendy young adults, but not be offensive to a slightly older crowd.
We are looking for a brandable logo that will appear on the clothing/accessories, as well as promotional items. It should convey the tough, edgy style of the company without the use of literal references to the word "hell" or have the logo be overwhelmed by car characateurs.
The style of the logo should blend well with or compliment the pinstriping of the clothing designs, but also be able to stand on its own as a design in & of itself.
The logo could combine a graphic/symbol, as well as the company name, or just be the name itself. Either way, it needs to be a recognizable symbol of the company and work in both small & large formats (the small format could be just the graphic/symbol alone).
The logo should be designed in such as a way that its colors could be changed out to compliment the clothing design. We prefer no more than 2-colors in the design, but one that could be printed in a single color, if needed.
Be creative, be edgy, but keep in mind the clean & classic nature of the clothing designs.
File required in Adobe Illustrator format (.ai) & jpeg for quick-reference.
Please separate the colors in the design, so that they can be changed easily.
