Food & Drink
Tipped Mixology is a startup company offering creative and unique drink mixes to a market flooded by mass-produced and unoriginal offerings. Tipped is made in Brooklyn, NY and is where we plan to first distribute the product. The target audience will be patrons looking to add an interesting cocktail mixer to their bar, host a party with an easy and exciting drink offer, or try something new for a change of pace from a normal drink. The drinks, so far, will be offered in three sized-- A one drink ready to mix version (just add alcohol and ice), a 375ml 'half-bottle' version, and a 1 liter bottle. There are currently three approved drinks with the option for seasonal offerings as well. The drinks are: a Ginger Jalapeño Margarita, an Earl Gray Martini, and an Apple Cherry Old Fashioned. Each mix is 100% natural and made with quality ingredients. Check us out on Twitter @TippedMixology
Logo types to explore
UPDATED BRIEF: After checking out the ideas that have been posted I think this needs to go in a slightly different direction: The legibility of the text is becoming an issue with the negative space idea--This is something I wasn't concerned with originally. I know it is a complete 180 but we're now thinking more of a vintage feel to the logo with the typeface in particular. I'm thinking something closer to a typewrite/engraving/embossed font. I still like the idea of negative space but I don't think it should be inside the lettering--Instead, take it outside of the lettering with a little prop that ties into the drinks like the martini glass or one of the ingredients in the drink itself... perhaps outlining the object so that it still gets filled by the color inside the bottle. I'm still looking for one color on this. I also think the text should be on two lines. I have attached 3 new files to take a look at in terms of typeface so you can see the embossed/engraved feel I'm looking for. My favorite of the three is the Laird's Applejack font. I am keeping the original brief up so everyone can see where this has evolved. Thanks for sticking with me! ----- Our goal with the logo is to take the text 'Tipped Mixology' and use the negative space to create a martini glass or something having to do with liquor/alcohol in the text itself. The logo will be printed using one color (Black or frosted white) on glass bottles. This printing process only uses one color with no shading. We hope that the color of the drinks themselves can provide the negative space needed to pull the whole logo together. Think Fedex, Goodwill, or Baskin Robbins. The logo will be filled in with different colors for the website and any paper utilization of the logo to add in the negative space. Please keep the logos one color, mature, simple, and classy. I'd rather not see any art going along with the logo unless it fits the designer's idea. Thank you, and good luck! -Tipped Mixology
