About us

The brand, Urban Thumb & Company is dedicated to space conscious plant care. Our consumers need the gardening basics to care for their plant obsession but they don't have the space for the 20lb bag of mulch or soil. Plan to sell 5 or 10 lb bags Our flagship product is up-cycled mulch sold at manageable quantities for the urban plant lover. All bark is responsibility sourced from suppliers that are members of the FSC - Forest stewardship council. Target audience is urban house plant lovers: Think modern millennials that live in urban spaces. Houseplants are cool again (Shh...don’t tell you mom). Modern plant culture is a movement to transform indoor spaces from improving air quality to enhancing your mood.
