Wetenschap in beweging (Science in movement)
Human movement sciences is a field of expertise for curious people. With admiration for the complexity of the human body, we study the movement from different angles.
We transfer the acquired knowledge into practice in order to improve our functioning and performance.
Whether it is about a rehabilitation process, improving sports performance, or the use of exercise for a healthy life.
Many disciplines come together in human movement sciences; from biomechanics to psychology, from physiology to pathology. The VvBN sees anyone who is involved with the moving human being as a movement scientist. We learn from each other, keep each other on point, discover new connections, and together we contribute to the better understanding of the human movement.
