Rickshaw Bagworks is a 3-yr-old San Francisco-based manufacturer of custom messenger bags. We make bags right here in SF in our own sewing shop. We are inspired by urban living and bicycle commuting. You can learn more about our company on our web site: http://www.rickshawbags.com
Urban bicycling enthusiasts, including commuters, fixed-gear and single-speed riders.
We want our name rendered in the style of vintage bicycle manufacturing company logotypes from the 1890's, specifically Columbia Bicycles and Kenwood Bicycles. Here are direct links to examples on the Smithsonian Institution Libraries web site:
We want "Rickshaw" in script with the underline swooping back from the last letter, like the Columbia logo, with "Bagworks" in vintage block type. "Bagworks" should be nested under "Rickshaw" so the overall logotype is not too wide (keep it compact). Also, add "San Francisco" in smaller type below "Bagworks". Please see attached sketch.
The logo must be one color, with no gradations. We will reproduce the logo as a rubber stamp, embroidery and woven labels.
Thanks in advance for your efforts!
