Our small supermarket is everything from a cornerstore to a fresh fruit and vegetable market. We aim to be a convenient, fun and fresh place that people can use for any groceries, snacks, roast chickens, cigarettes - you name it - for people in our neighbourhood. In other words, a one stop shop.
Everyday suburban people who want something convenient and reasonably priced. They want the lifestyle that goes hand in hand with fresh food and modern cuisine.
So the brand should appear fresh, modern, easy, fun, reasonably priced, accessible, breezy, but leaning towards a corporate look, not that of a corner store.
Our goal is to roll this out as a chain if this shop is successful, so we want something that looks every bit as solid as major competitors like Coles, Woolworths, IGA.
The Minimarket Logo is a starting point for ideas to extrapolate from, but the Woolworths one is also a great touchstone for how the idea of freshness and fresh food can be connected to the brand "W" really effectively.
Variations of the Minimarket logo or any other left-field takes that create the feel of this in a different way are welcome.
IDEALLY, something that fuses these 2 designs - the interconnected M's combined into some sort of "freshness" / "fresh food" symbol is likely to be the path to success.
Note: Just reminding, the Brand is "My Market" - don't do mini market by accident! :)
