DemandStreet (http://www.demandstreet.com and http://www.demandst.com)
DemandStreet provides a trio of services to small businesses – optimization of online social media presence, management of reviews and reputation, and administration of rewards and discount programs – allowing them to focus on what really matters: keeping customers happy and growing their bottom line.
We deliver these services at low cost to business owners through a unique combination of social media experts and scalable web technology. Partnering with sites like Facebook, Yelp, Google, and CitySearch, our platform expands the visibility of businesses, while ensuring the additional attention garnished and feedback received is done in as positive light as possible.
Once we have a logo we love (from you hopefully!), we will be looking to create a site that is extremely easy to understand and navigate – our target audience is small business owners who are not, in general, sophisticated web users; they may have heard of Facebook and Twitter from their children, and Yelp from their customers, but they don’t necessarily know why they are important, how they should use them, or how to navigate a complicated website.
The site that will make use of this logo will be a very clean, modern, “web 2.0” look and feel (think mint.com, meraki.com, 37signals.com, etc.) and thus the logo should fit in well to that style.
The only thing that our customers have in common is that they are small business owners who are extremely busy and benefit greatly from our services; what each business does varies and includes your typical professionals (e.g., dentists, dermatologists, accountants, etc.) to home services providers (e.g., pest control, carpet and tile installation, landscapers, etc.) and everything in between. This logo should appeal to people trying to grow their businesses while making their lives easier -- complexity is bad, simplicity is good.
A couple designs we have seen on this site that we really like are:
We want something similar and not too noisy ..
