Very simple, sleek design that inspires. Will definitely use again.
How includeme started their logo design journey
includeme is a brand-new web 2.0 startup that gives local businesses and local publishers the ability to create real-time daily deals and advertisements. includeme is like Amazon (its an affiliate network) but it is a local affiliate network of consumer deals. We call it includeme because anyone can join their ideal "Group" and local businesses can give exclusive deals direct to your group. Imagine being able to create a facebook group for your company, and then suddenly local restaurants or offfice max is creating 50% off goods and services deals only for groups like you.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Customers vary from trendy urban young people to bargain deal hunters to upscale new england town publications, so the brand should be "safe" without being ornate, confusing, or complicated. This logo should definitely fit in well with the whole TechCrunch scene.
Design for includeme should play off of the idea of you the consumer being included in exclusive deal groups. We are looking for a logo concept that might or might not involve an icon, your choice. Our popular favorites for comparison are brightkite.com, foursquare.com, and locamoda.com but we are have already started using dark green and yellow in our motif. Playing off of a green "Add" button could be cool but is not necessary. Playing off the "me" could also be fun.
