Loved the final design - quite classic but with great detail as well. The designer understood the brief best. Ardz Gallery was great to work with quite a few changes made during the process and good range of artwork provided on completion.
My designer for the project captain spirit is awesome.
I love my new logo nd thank him for the great job ;)

Very good job, we were very happy.
How angus3 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?

This is a platform for free wine reviews and articles - so it is to target wine consumers (whom are on the conservative side generally) but trying to straddle middle-aged and more youthful wine consumers - so classic looking but with a slight edge. Also looking to be international so Chinese consumers as well.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

Some general thoughts of mine but also could go in a different direction:
The logo screams wine pilot, both elements come out - it is a super clear representation of the brand so simple, strong branding - not abstract.
Simple classic colours - Pilots usually in black, dark blue and with authority (I assume gold/silver are out). I probably prefer a dark navy. Perhaps pilot stripes as seen on their shoulders somewhere in the "winepilot"
3. Perhaps the W in Winepilot looks like a pilot's "wings" badge - or that is the logo? Or plane, pilots hat etc. Or pilot wings - with wine pilot written around the wings. Also could include a target element - as we will help readers find wines to suit.
