Hello! Let me introduce you to us. We are a contemporary women's clothing store located in a midwest resort area on the waters of Lake Michigan. We carry both american and european designers. Our merchandise is upscale and modern, but midpriced ($98 jeans, $38-$78 tops, $88-$178 dresses) The primary colors we use in our advertising and store are blue (of course), black and white with chrome fixtures to offset all the fabulous prints and patterns featured on our clothes. We have been in business for 10 years and we've become a destination stop for our resort clients. FYI our name was derived from combining my favorite color (blue) and a shortened version of my last name (ivy)
Our target audience are women ages 20-50 (married or single) that love current, modern clothing and jewelry that she may see in various media outlets. Hip moms with smaller children tend to be our biggest clients. However, our younger clients do like our clothes primarily because they're cute and they want something new to go out in perhaps to a club or on a date. Our older clients like our clothes because they make them feel pretty and modern. Our resort clients also like the fact they don't see our clothing at the "Mall", In turn, makes them feel they found something unique that they won't see "everywhere".
We're pretty much open to most things. Just a few things I can think of off hand. Nothing childlike or childish, no cartoons or bright colors. This logo needs to draw a woman into the store knowing she'll find something feminine, yet modern. Sophisticated, but not cold (because we pride ourselves in giving friendly service) Modern glamour? Colors to use-blue/white/black, one or all. Thanks!
