YBR Financial Advisors
Need a new logo for a relaunch of our firm, we are a hip, young, and fun (lots of energy) firm that is also very professional. Our name, YBR Financial Advisors is inspired by the Yellow Brick Road, the idea that our clients are on a financial life journey (financial independence road) and we are there to guide them. The yellow brick road concept also recognizes that each of us posseses the potential to get where we want to go. We help clients set goals for financial security and we help them get there. We are located in San Francisco, California.
We are NOT affiliated with a firm with a similar name in Australia.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our clients are generally successful individuals or couples who live in the San Francisco bay area, they are (on average) white, professionals (they earned their wealth through hard work or innovation), in their 50's or 60's, and are beginning to think more about making sure their wealth is enough to sustain them through retirement. This is a serious matter (we manage their investments for them) but we want a spirit of energy and fun in our logo.
Of course the tie-in to "yellow brick road" may mean some of your designers just give us a logo with a basic yellow brick road in it. That's not very creative, and we could do that ourselves. And many times that won't be professional enough to pass muster among the clients who will judge us by the quality of our logo.
The logo must work well in website and in print (letterhead, bizcards, etc.).

We want you, the designer, to use your creativity --- let loose and see what bubbles up for you. The words "yellow brick road" should NOT appear in the logo.
The text "YBR Financial Advisors" must appear in the text and be readable.
