When I started this campaign I thought I had a design in mind and just wanted someone to copy what I submitted. As I started to get the designs they all looked very similar to what I was asking for, except Mihailo's. He took a little of what I asked for and added his own creativity to it. And as more and more designs were submitted, I found myself going right back to Mihailo's design as the comparison.
He was very understanding, answered every question I had, responded to the slightest changes almost instantly, and more importantly created an awesome logo.

Looking to create a temporary website for a new business start-up, to which I can point business contacts when I leave my current employer (large global investment bank). Idea is that the temporary website has a short description of the business project and with my new contact details and ability to register interest - the website will act as a temporary placeholder until my new business is ready to fully launch. Once the actual business has been launched intention is to direct visitors to the new business website (name/form still to be finalised). This temporary website is to fill the "void" between having left a large blue chip investment bank and until new business is ready to launch - ie my "corporate" identity/virtual business card while I'm in the "twilight" zone. I will also use LinkedIn to inform contacts of my new venture. Project name is project XYZ (project-xyz.com), so need (1) logo design for the name that can feature on the website, (2) text box/font for the actual short description of the business and the "expected to launch during 2016" (3) an appropriate webpage background picture.
Given temporary nature, have gone for simplicity and picked XYZ as it is often used in economic literature when describing "any" company, a bit like John or Jane Doe. The point is that the actual business is still work in progress, so can't fully describe all details as yet, but want a place to shed some light on what I'm up to.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
One idea I had was a black/white background image showing a sunrise over a lake (sun possibly in colour) - perhaps the "Copenhagen lakes/søerne" - perhaps with a couple of swans taking off (or other Nordic birds). Perhaps an early spring morning mist over the lake as well to symbolise the clarity to come with the fresh start and new business take off.
Given the Nordic business base, would be ideal to focus on Nordic simplicity/design.
But open to ideas that is fit for purpose and captures the "new beginning" in a "Nordic" and professional way. Can provide further details as necessary.
