Entertainment & The Arts
Purrapy is an app for Android and iOS that helps people to relax by listening to the vibrations of cat's purring when they stroke a photo-realistic fur that moves under the fingers just as if they stroke a real cat's fur. For Android phones, Purrapy can also be used as a live wallpaper. Our target audeinces can be described as follows: - cat lovers (no matter of what age and sex) - parents with children - young females Although females can be considered as our main audience, we want the design of our app to be appealing to both males and females. The app itself is very simple but small details are very important to us. We want people to have great user experience when using our app. They need to clearly understand the interface, the functions of all the elements, and the user flow. It is important that the design is natively understandable and drives the trial of the app's functions.
General guidelines: - The app should be shiny, glossy, exquisite - App should look modern and stylish - Prevailing colors: white, gray, blue (take the blue from the typography of the logo) - Minor color: pink (don't overuse it) Consider the following options: - Relating the app to cats theme might be an opportunity - Furry (fluffy) style of some elements might work Please, consider the following as minor guidelines for the congruent overall design: - Logo of the application (attached), - Typography for the action bar (attached), - Structure of the screens (attached)
Attached you will find two screens with app structure that we find acceptable. However, if you think that some of the elements could be structured in a better way, please feel free to change the structure. But it would be better if you first explain your position. In any case, we truly support creative ideas and are ready to consider them if necessary. Your task it to provide us with the following elements: - action bar with icons - menu overflow menu with icons - popup with all of the elements The user flow inside the app is conducted via action bar, menu overflow and popups. The rest is the fur with no elements on it. Therefore, your task is to add design to the proposed app structure: 1. Action Bar. It should be corresponding to the typography of the logo. 2. Menu Overflow popup. 3. One of the main popups where you select one of the cat from the scrollable list. We expect you to experiment with: 1) Design elements of action bar, popup and menu overflow 2) All the icons 3) All of the elements in the popup 4) Typography 5) Colors We believe that we deal with one screen, even though it would be appropriate for you to submit two screenshots as they overlap. Attached you will find our vision of the workflow: 99d01.jpg - the app is shown with action bar and menu overflow 99d02.jpg - a popup comes over.
