Warranty Alerts is a website and application that allows homeowners to register for reminders for their product warranties. Homeowners receive an email before their products expire. We work closely with the company that creates the homeowner manuals so we already know all the products in the home. The target audience are homeowners who will see a sticker for warranty alerts on their printed manual.
What's your vision?
We need a sticker designed that will fit on a printed manual without being too overwhelming. Probably about 2x4 oval or 3x3. The sticker should provide enough information to get people to go to the website, but not so much that we bore them. Consistency: there should be a similar color scheme between the sticker and Warranty Alerts site for continuity. see. warrantyalerts.com for the green color Engagement: Consider using a picture of a happy person (the person is perceived to be happy because their home/warranties are not a worry for them because they used Warranty Alerts). Keep the title of the sticker down to one line. "Register for your warranty alerts today" Use phrases like “You Deserve Peace of Mind”. Stick with lighter colored backgrounds. Brighter is better. However, we have learned that some of our home builder customers think that the current sticker is way too ugly, which it is. Use a trust statement like “Over 1,000 members have joined Warranty Alerts”. It is okay to use a mouse pointer to emphasize the name of the website.
The sticker examples that I uploaded are too ugly and they need to be updated.
