Entertainment & The Arts
I am seeking executive level jobs in the venue management, arts and/or entertainment field. My audience will be hiring managers that value an individual that is a strong leader, is both current on industry affairs but can maneuver in traditional, often political, settings.
What's your vision?
I am looking to develop a more contemporary-looking resume that has a modern feel but traditional format. My current resume is feeling a little overworked and stodgy; way too wordy. It needs to be reorganized and redesigned for 2021 but should still be presented as a chronological resume, as my professional experience is the strongest feature. From the file I've uploaded, Objective can become "key objective" or similar for the resume's statement. Highlights can be reduced and combined with a few examples from technology to become "key skills" or similar. I think the format needs to be kept at 2 pages to include the five positions listed on my current resume, but the number of skills under each needs to be reduced - there may be too much redundancy.
You can check out my LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexis-b-11519b5/. I would prefer it not be on my resume, however. Also, I MUST be able to manipulate the text and format once completed, as I edit every resume I send specific to the organization and role. So, in addition to changing verbiage, some sections may be longer and some shorter, depending on the recipient. Microsoft Word (or even Publisher...) preferred. Editing in Google Docs may or may not be acceptable depending on design.
