We need you to help create the art for a simple iOS game. We don't need any animations. Just single-frame textures for each enemy, player and power up. We also need a 2-layer background for parallax scrolling in game.
The art needs to be created in a special way for our game engine to process it. Our engine automatically detects the art by removing the background, similar to the Photoshop fill command with “Contiguous” selected, starting at the corners.
In order to correctly detect the image, we require the following:
* We need all the art to be on a white background, with a thick, dark border.
* We need all the art pieces to be closed shapes.
* In order for the background to be removed correctly, our background-removal algorithm needs to be able to reach it. Therefore don’t leave any empty spaces inside the object.
Note - This also applies to the second layer of the background, since we’ll need it’s background to be transparent as well.
We would like all the art in vector graphics, or in the following resolutions:
Player - 512x512px
Platforms, Enemies and Powerups - 1024x1024px
Background Layers1 and 2 - 1536x2048px;
The game is a vertical, iOS, down-jumping game involving a diver and a water theme. We need a total of 6 art objects, and 2 scrolling background layers.
The assets we require are:
Player - Diver in an old diving suit
Platforms user will jump on - Total of 2
Enemies, (scary looking) - Total of 2
Background - 2-layer parallax scrolling (vertical 1536 pixels wide * 2048 pixels high)
Layer 1 - A watery world, maybe with a shipwreck, ocean vegetation, etc... This layer will be static (not scrolling).
Layer 2 - A scrolling layer of water bubbles.
