I run autopitch.com. Our website sells cars like an auction, but in reverse. Buyers post what they want and sellers compete for their business.
So I am creating some ads for this site and that is what this project is about.
Anyone buying a car.
I want an illustration that looks similar to this: http://www.powerwriting.com/graphics/caples.jpg
So the illustration in the example above goes along with the story on this page: http://www.powerwriting.com/caples.html
The illustration that we are creating will go along with the text below (and attached), so please design the illustration in a similar format to the examples above, but using this story line instead:
“Can he really find a good deal on a car?” a girl whispered. “My goodness, no," my buddy exclaimed. "Simon’s never gotten a good deal in his life.” (THIS WILL BE THE CAPTION FOR THE IMAGE)
They Laughed When I Bought a
Car on the Internet…
But When I Showed them the Price!~
My buddy Tyler was just finishing regaling the room with tales of his bargaining brilliance. He was in his element. “Long story short,” he delivered the punchline, “that’s my Mercedes outside on the corner.” Everyone, from the cute girls to our group of guys, applauded. I decided to use the moment to follow up with my own story.
“That’s a good story, Ty,” I said. “But I’ve got one that’ll knock that one out of the park.”
“You sure you haven’t had one too many shots of Jack?” somebody chuckled. Everyone laughed along with this quip. They’d heard too many stories of my unease with smarmy used car salesmen.
