CD cover wanted for amazing Irish Banjo Band playing Celtic and Americana banjo music and song
What's your vision?
We're looking for an eye-catching and original CD cover design. The album title is "Roots of the Banjo Tree". We're thinking of an image of a tree on the left hand side of the frame with a mass of gnarled, knotty roots at the bottom of the frame and branches/leaves at the top. "We Banjo 3" will be at the top of the frame in the branches/leaves with the end of the number "3" continuing on to blend in with a branch of the tree. "Roots of the Banjo Tree" will be at the bottom of the frame. There must be space for a photograph (to be taken) of the the 3 piece band in the main part of the CD cover. This must be dominant in the overall image. We will get a photograph taken to match the design. The background of the CD cover should be outdoors, possibly with a very blurry, vague suggestion of grassy meadow and a setting sun for the photograph to be superimposed on. We want several of the roots to become banjos - necks and the round bit!! At the very very bottom of the frame there should be room for the tag line"Irish Old-Time Bluegrass" The CD is most likely going to be a 6 page digipac so some colours/patterns from the from page will be used to decorate the rest of the pages. Colour wise we like primary colours, greens and dusty red desert browns. We are Irish so a little touch of Celtic patterns would be good but not in a Shamrocky St Patrick's Day way! Although what we have described is detailed, the overall image should not be overly busy or complicated. The look is earthy, Irish, Old-Time Kentucky Mountain Fiddler, dusty, organic, ancient, modern. We're not asking for much but know we're definitely in the right place!!
6 page digipac sizing spec uploaded. If the inside pages could be off-white/creamy/browny colour with tree roots running though at top and bottom or maybe just bottom or top, to allow room for text etc. Final design files should be fully editable and vector.
