Our website allows ticket holders to donate their excess event tickets to the non-profit organization of their choice for a full tax benefit. The tickets are then posted to the website on behalf of that organization, and, when they sell, we direct a majority of the proceeds back to the organization's mission.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Currently, our website allows for the donation of paper tickets and electronic tickets from third party donors for sports, music and theater events. These are the tickets sold on the website that benefit our member non-profit organizations. As a further component of our program, we allow our member non-profit organizations to also use our platform to sell tickets to their own events (i.e Black Tie Gala or Silent Auction). In this case, the fulfillment process is our version of "Will Call." Each time a purchaser purchases a ticket, an auto-generated purchase confirmation email is sent to the purchaser with a PDF "Will Call Receipt" attached. This receipt is then printed by the purchaser and used as his/her "ticket" to gain entry to the event.
We would like to have a new PDF "Will Call Receipt" designed. This receipt contains all the pertinent information about the purchase much like a ticket does for a sports, music or theater event. We will provide further details ahead.
In addition to the "Will Call Receipt," we would also like for a "Dining Certificate" to be designed. The "Dining Certificate" should be similar to PDF vouchers provided by most daily deal websites. The "Will Call Receipt" and "Dining Certificate" should use the same basic design elements so as to preserve uniformity. We will provide further details ahead.
The first PDF that we have attached is our current "Will Call Receipt," which contains all the pertinent information from the purchase and the mandatory components for the document. The file is an example of a PDF ticket from a company called Ticketfly, which embodies some of the creative characteristics we are hoping to see. This is where the designer is free to be creative in how the mandatory components are displayed. Finally, the third file is a sample Groupon voucher, which, too, embodies some of the creative characteristics we are hoping to see in the "Dining Certficate" PDF. Again, this is where the designer is free to be creative in how the mandatory components are displayed.
