Yogi Beans is the world’s leading children’s yoga and wellness brand, defining the burgeoning health category with its yoga-inspired, character-building content that underlies a range of engaging, entertaining and inspirational B2C and B2B wellness experiences for consumers, educational facilities, and in partnership with different types of fitness, retail and hospitality corporations. The company goes beyond yoga and wellness to function as a holistic lifestyle brand for a devoted following of consumers who apply its vision of children's wellness to their practice of yoga, self-care and mindfulness in everyday life.
What's your vision?
We created a company manifesto – just text! – that we want graphically designed as a representation of our brand’s core values. Specifically, we are seeking a typographic pattern, patchwork, or collection of visualized words and messaging, that truly captures the core values of our children’s yoga and wellness lifestyle brand. We want the design to be child-friendly while still speaking to adults! The messaging also incorporates phrases that are evocative of current cultural climates and societal trends that impact children everywhere (“I create ways to be friendly and kind to everyone I meet”). More broadly, the manifesto’s structure aligns with the seven chakra system whereby each stanza evokes the seven energy centers or chakras in order from lowest chakra (i.e., Stanza 1, “Root,” 1st Chakra) to highest chakra (i.e., Stanza 7, “Crown,” 7th Chakra). Each chakra has an associated color, which can be integrated into the design.
This is a truly creative exercise and a challenging visual project. We are seeking designers that can visually represent our brand in an useful, forward-thinking, attractive – and legible – way utilizing contemporary typefaces and colors that make sense for our brand. Words and expressions that you should know are: Ever Yes! Optimism Awareness Openness Kindness Mindfulness Active Social Kids Yoga High Vibration Unbound Potential Authenticity I AM Creativity -- Our primary brand colors are: Purple: 102, 55, 233, #6637E9 Orange: 255, 113, 16, #FF7110 Pink: 255, 64, 202 #FF40CA Brown: 70, 23, 18, #461712 Our font is: Montserrat -- Samples of manifestos are included. We particularly like the two Lululemon examples (the old one in red and the new one in black) that shows how each stanza and pieces of language can be broken up into mini-stories and used in a variety of ways.

Aulolette was great to work with and VERY responsive to any requests we made. She would do what we asked, but also provide a number of other suggestions and variations to the final design that we found very helpful and unique. In the end, she provided everything that she had worked on that was based on the final design so we have a number of options to use on a variety of materials in the future. Her work will be used extensively throughout our organization and we are very pleased with the process and her work.
