Community & Non-Profit
We currently take teens of all faiths and backgrounds to Canada's only resort built exclusively for teens. It is like Club Med for teens, with the exception that the entire point if for them to feel and experience the love of God firsthand. We are a non-profit Christian organization that cares for teenagers by going onto their turf, and being mentors to them no strings attached.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a poster/brochure. Traditionally, this poster is legal sized (8.5x14). Last year we fit two in this size on card stock and it was received well. It will feature fun camp pictures or one great picture, designers call. (link to the photos at the bottom.) Logos need to be incorporated - Young Life, Wyldlife and Rockridge Canyon. All logos are attached - a few to choose from. Also please have the following websites listed: younglife.ca and rockridgecanyon.com.The printed posters are mailed out all across the country. Each area prints the registration information for their own regions on the back of the poster and hands them out. We are thinking colour one-side card maybe 8.5 x 5.5 (2 per page) may be equally as appealing and effective. WHATEVER IT ENDS UP BEING, MUST BE ABLE TO BE FED THROUGH STANDARD PRINTER. So nothing pre-folded or over 8.5 x 14. We want the front side to be mainly live action image based. I've attached the backside template from past years to show what information we need on back. Images on the back would be nice as well, but is up to designer. It is important that the text on the back is editable as it is a National organization and Area's and Cities will want to customize all the info. Two brochures / One design: Our thought its that it could be as simple as changing the font and the main photo. Otherwise should have done two contests :) Brochure 1: Young Life: This is our grade 9-12 Camp. We want it to appeal more to senior high teens ages 14-18. It needs the RockRidge Logo and Young Life logo the front and the YL logo on the back. Brochure 2: Wyldlife: This is our grade 6-8 Camp and we want it to look younger, and appeal more to middle school teens ages 11-13. This needs to have our Wydlife logo and the RockRidge Canyon logo on front and YL logo on back. Sometime's we have a tagline or catch phrases, if you have a good one, great! - Your Summer was made for this – (used in 2010) - Don’t miss the best week of your life (2011) - Bring a friend… - best week of your life. (2009) No clip art or stock photos. Designs need to be submitted in Adobe Ilustrator or InDesign. Please feel free to be creative with your design - keeping in mind our requirements for printing on the reverse side, registration, mailing, etc. Photo of last year's poster attached. WE MUST HAVE AN EDITABLE FINISHED FILE to change details and images for Regions. Photo links: We just ran a photo contest and images are there on our Young Life Canada Facebook page. Whatever image you the designer pick as your feature photo will win the contest. Here is the link to the entries: http://offerpop.com/Contest.psp?c=2…amp;v=View
