Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a criminal defense law firm. The product is a two-sided flyer that we fold and include with a letter that we mail to people who have been arrested.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The front side of the flyer (double sided insert) is a list of recent dismissals with the details of the plea bargain (see attached example). We update this list every 6 months or so. It is currently a Word document. We would like to have it redesigned - with better fonts and more color (greens) to match our website (roadmanlaw.com) and accompanying letter (attached). We are ok with any design software/file that you use as long as we can edit the text at a later date. The second side will be a selection of quotes from our Yelp testimonials (example attached) - each with the 5 stars (red) next to it. I've attached the quotes. Please include a Yelp logo somewhere on it. We want to focus our marketing towards Yelp. the page size is 8.5x11.
We really want the recipient to be impressed by the number of dismissals (obviously). The word "dismissed" should "pop". We also want the reader to be impressed with the number of 5 star reviews. So, the "5 stars" should also "pop". If you find a way to include more dismissals (we have many more - just duplicate the current case info and we'll provide the new replacement info ) - great. Our thought is that the more dismissals we put on the page, the better. However, we don't want to sacrifice readability/legibility. We want the reader to have a visceral reaction - "Wow" - to the flyer. We are required by the Texas Bar to include the details of the dismissal. I've attached the letter that we will include with the dismissal/testimonial flyer so that you can see the style we are going for. The font is Lato. I think the best way to do the testimonials is to put 5 red stars then the quote, then 5 red stars, then the quote... all the way down the page. So there are 20+ sets of red stars.
