What's your vision?
We would like a design for a letter (that will be on standard 8.5"x11" paper) that we will be sending within an envelope in a direct mail campaign. We are providing the copy in the attachment below, but what we need is the design of the letter. We need the letter to look like it's coming from a court or government office and should appear very official. This direct mail piece is going to people who have received a speeding ticket and enrolled in defensive driving. This letter is providing them instructions to sign up for their court-mandated defensive driving course. We would like this to be designed in a way that we can make minimal text adjustments and send it to the direct-mail publisher who will be sending these off. You can use filler copy, or the copy I provide below. The part we are looking for is the design itself. Again, it should look like an official court document that needs their attention, because it is. This is not a design for an advertisement, and accordingly does not need to be a typical flashy ad. In fact, it should not look like an ad at all. Simply an urgent message from the court about their traffic citation. Please see (very rough) example that includes the wording of our message.
Edit & Updates: *Note* To be clear: We will be populating the date/citation/name information. These are not fields for the recipient to fill out themselves. You can use filler dates/name/citation #s. Many of the designs received make these sections appear to be fields for the recipient to fill out themselves. I apologize for not clarifying. *NOTE2* - Our logo/branding should not be in the design. This is not an advertisement for DefensiveDriving.com. The only place that will say DefensiveDriving.com is the URL. *Note 3* - We just need the design of the letter itself. If you want to show what it will look like sitting on table or otherwise, please include the actual letter itself separately for review. *Note 4* - This may NOT need ANY rich images. Simple is better for us. Again, it should resemble a court document in design. This is not an advertisement/banner. To stress again: -We are providing the copy/verbiage. We need the design of the letter itself done. -This can be in color. -Will be printed on a standard size piece of paper. -The design is not an ad, is an official communication.
