What's your vision?
I'm looking for a movie poster design for a show I'm pitching. It will be in front of a large room, so I'm going to print it on a large stand up poster. Final specs will be attached. So the design needs to be both eye catching, but also simple and memorable. The show's tone is very in line with Homeland meets Hell or High Water. Sicario is another good reference in terms of the look and feel of the piece.
I'm really open to what I'm looking for. Take a look at some of your favorite movie posters and let your mind go from there. However, I do have a few requirements: 1) There are three main characters that I need to point at during my pitch. So I need imagery representing those characters. I've provided a few stills (both low and high res) for each of the main characters which are labeled. 2) The folder labeled militiamen are up to your discretion. You can use them, but you don't have to. 3) The show title and theme line also need to be fairly prominent and legible. 4) Final specs for the poster being delivered can be found here: https://www.postupstand.com/documents/62.25x80.pdf 5) Quick summary of mandatory elements are as follows: A) Abel F photo B) John C photo (These first two can have equal weight) C) Clara photo (should have less weight that John and Abel) D) Show title E) Show theme line You can additional elements. Just make sure what's listed above is in your design. MATERIALS I REFERENCED CAN BE FOUND HERE. FOLDER IS TOO BIG TO UPLOAD. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9bmgmasy3jkay27/AAAIl1nJCGBraIvKRmI4GKvba?dl=0 6) Please make sure that any imagery or designs you use will scale up and not print to be pixelated. I believe the high res imagery should work, but if you don't believe it will and can find similar imagery, I'd be open to it. 7) There are no restrictions in terms rights issues. This isn't for public consumption and won't be seen online. 8) Lastly, I am open to stock imagery, but nothing over $100. In the past, I've used an upside down American flag with the show title as a logo ... FYI. (You don't have to do the same, but you can if you like that idea)
