We need a main, key art image for the documentary - this will be alternately a DVD cover or a key art image to go with the streaming listing of the documentary, depending on the platform.
-You have four photos to choose from as the basis of the design. We are looking for a striking image that maximises the photo, ties together the background, photo and text, and presents the title of the documentary in a bold, contemporary style.
-The title of the documentary is "Drake", to be accompanied by the sub-title "You Only Live Once". As mentioned above, the text should be presented in an eye-catching, contemporary and interesting way with the name "Drake" being the main event.
-Along with the title and subtitle, the artwork should also include the phrase: "An unauthorized documentary" at the bottom of the layout. This wording needs to be present for legal reasons, it needs to be legible, but we will want to keep it discrete - it shouldn't draw too much attention to itself.
-The file "Drake Title Grab" includes a screen shot of the title screen from within the film so you can get a feel for the current style of the project. The two fonts used in that image are "Bank Gothic" for Drake and "Bebas Neue" for You Only Live Once.
-Make use of space and give the central image room to breath - please do not crowd the image or clutter it.
-The files "NWA", "Tupac" and "McGregor" are provided as references. The use of contrast, shadow and texture on Tupac is good. As is the font style for the title and the coloured element behind it that adds another touch to an otherwise monotone image. Similarly, the NWA poster is compositionally striking with the text presented in an interesting and creative way.
