It was a pleasure working with foggyboxes. He was very responsive to our feedback and had a lot of creative ideas. We are very pleased with the final artwork.

The product in this case is a educational information design poster to teach the history of ideas in cognitive science to new students of the field(s)
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
On the page http://www.riedlanna.com/cognitives…cemap.html you can find a information design poster that I would wish to get professionally redesigned. Currently it is purely optimized to be scientific, but doesn't look particularly beautiful or well done aesthetically. The important parts are: the y axis shows a rough separation in different disciplines (as lines, e.g. psychology, neuroscience...), the x axis shows the time dimension (history in years), there is some space for the prehistory and for the potential future. The round white fields represent central ideas or publications or historical events. There are lines between the disciplines show major transitions. The colorful blobs in the background show trending paradigms (broadness represents how trending they were). Visually I prefer minimalistic designs.
You do not have to include all the written white bubbles or all the text that is currently on the poster, more importantly I am searching for a general idea to capture the main structure of the poster better visually
