Community & Non-Profit
In WW2, Rosie the Riveter was created as a way to rally women to work in the steel mills. The country was desperately in need of labor to create steel for the war effort. This iconic image empowered women across the USA to support the war effort. Today we are at war with COVID 19. The CDC has said that we all need to cover our faces when we go outside. There is a shortage of medical-grade masks and the ones that we need have to be in hospitals, not grocery stores. We are rallying women and men across the country to make masks at home so that people can cover their faces. Our goal is to put 10,000 people back to work sewing masks and selling them to people. Thanks for joining the fight!
What's your vision?
We need an iconic image of a strong woman with a sewing machine making masks. Something that makes you think of the Rosie the Riveter image which is public domain! The image should include the words "We Can Sew it" and "support the war effort" It should also have the chooselife.org logo on the sewing machine as all the proceeds from this venture go to support teen mental health.
