What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Our latest contest is revolving around a title called "Sealed Cargo". This is a Spanish language film shot in Bolivia about a group of policemen trying to find a place to unload a trainload of toxic dump. Sadly for them, the public is aware of the cargo, and so they are confronted with resistance along the way. Stark and darkly comic, this is an art house feature which we will be placing on digital platforms and cable.
For the poster art, take a look at the provided images, review the film, and see if you can piece together that thematically provide a bit of the storyline. The train is a big part of the story, so that could work as background. The conflict between the main police officer and the native leader is well conveyed in image "Sealed Cargo_still13.jpg" & "Sealed Cargo_still15.jpg. There's also the captivating group of figures that come up against the train as seen in image "Sealed Cargo_still24.jpg". But feel free to imagine a way to depict the movie! These are merely ideas. A general rule of thumb for movie posters is if can be effective as a thumbnail, then it will likely work blown up. A good font can really make a difference, too.
Thanks so much for your consideration!
Standard formatting is 24x36, but we also require a landscape version of the art (can be 16x9, more or less).
We require all layered files and fonts upon delivery.
